If you have central air and keeping the computer in a space that is relatively cool, the aftermarket cold air will be fine. If you do not have air conditioning and ambient air in your room is warmer, then cooler water would be your best choice. H80i will do a good job.
I live in a very warm place. I have a AMD FX-8150 CPU. The main problem is the temperature. I am using the stock cooler. When I make or play games like Crysis 3, Battlefield 3 etc. temperatures reaching 80C-90C. Sometimes shut itself down. And at 47C idle. My room temperature is 36C. I use Corsair H80i works well and is very comfortable.
